# OmeletteSwap Protocol

**OmeletteSwap** is a Decentralized Exchange (**DEX**) that will be implementing a PancakeSwap fork on the Omchain network. One of the most important aspects of the project is that it is the **first DEX** on **Omchain**. Our team met one-on-one with Osman Kuzucu, the founder of the Omchain network, in Lisbon, and sowed the seeds of the project.

**OmeletteSwap** it will offer users the opportunity to **swap, provide liquidity** and **farm** on the platform. Thanks to these facilities, users will be able to perform their transactions on the Omchain network. The OmeletteSwap will also be an important reference point for other projects to be launched on Omchain and will encourage the establishment of different projects on the network.

The first pairs on OmeletteSwap were determined as **OMC/OMLT** and **OMC/USDT**. However, since **OmeletteSwap** is a DEX, it will allow users to add liquidity in different pairs and swap with the liquidity added. The team plans to remain anonymous, but Osman Kuzucu met the team personally and played a role in the realization of the project technically. The aim of the project is to contribute to the development of the Omchain network and to enable web3 users to transact on the Omchain network more easily, faster and with lower fees.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://omeletteswaps-private-organizati.gitbook.io/home/omeletteswap-protocol.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
